Remembering Gustavo Gutiérrez

Rev. Gustavo Gutiérrez, the Peruvian priest best known as one of the main founders of liberation theology, which emphasized the human causes of poverty, died on Oct. 22, 2024, at his home in Lima, Peru at 96.

Rev. Gutiérrez is one of the people profiled in Holy Troublemakers & Unconventional Saints.
